Planex announced NAS with pre-installed Blog software 「Movable Type 4」

Planex communications Inc. (Headquarter : Shibuya-ku Tokyo, CEO : Katsuaki Kubota) has announced today that the launch of NAS（Network Attached Storage）with pre-installed software 「Movable Type 4」 developed by Six Apart Inc.(Headquarter : Minato-ku, Tokyo CEO: Nobuhiro Seki) for the purpose of increasing the penetration of the Intra-Blog for enterprise.

According to “the analysis of present state future forecast of Blog/SNS” by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, there are over 10,000,000 blogs exist. And as they are used as Intra-Blog for enterprises、the demand of blogs are increasing more. Through this announcement of the new product, it enables easy set up and management with high end Blog Server to whom may want to use Blogs or current Bloggers.

The new product which is announced today is a 1 bay NAS with 320GB hard disk and pre-installed 「Movable Type 4」.
