Easy to build a multiple display environment
USB display adaptor「PL-USDVI」is announced for launch

Planex Communications Inc.(President/CEO : Katsuaki Kubota, Headquarter : Tokyo Shibuya-ku, JASDAQ code 6784 ) announced today the USB display adaptor 「PL-USDVI」which enables to increase the productivity by building a multiple display environment easily even single output terminal will be launched in the end of November at resellers all over Japan and PLANEX DIRECT.

In addition, the sales forecast is included into this year's earning forecast.

 
【Main Features】
Add on DVI display through USB
  Even only one display output PC, it enables to add DVI display through USB port.
Unlike the past which need to add video card. It will provide the multiple display environments for notebook without slot expansion or compact PC easily.
 
Supports UXGA display
  Support high resolution UXGA（1600 x 1200 pixel）mode.
 
Selectable from expand mode and mirror mode
  Support expand mode and mirror mode.
  • Expand Mode
    Use the multiple display as one big monitor. It will increase the productivity a lot such as a one big spread sheet or multiple windows such as a browser and a word processor. It won't overlay windows.
  • Mirror MOde
    This is to display the same contents for both the main screen and sub screen. It is used the various situation like displaying notebook screen to big projector or DVI compatible projector at the presentation.

    No need AC adaptor
      The power is used from USB port of PC, there is no need to connect AC adaptor.
     
    The compact size for easy carry
      The main units weight is about 60g, so it is easy to carry in your hand.

    Through the production to the scrap a product life cycle, this product supports 「RoHS」which is to limit the usage of harmful substance such as lead, cadmium, liquid silver, hexavalent chrome, polybrominated biphenyl, Polybrominated diphenyl ether.
