Planex Communications Inc.(President/CEO : Katsuaki Kubota, Headquarter : Tokyo Shibuya-ku, JASDAQ code 6784 ) today announced the launch of IEEE802.11b/g compatible miniSD wireless LAN card 「GW-MS54G」which enables to add the function of wireless LAN to Smart phone and PDA will be sold in the end of December at resellers all over Japan and PLANEX DIRECT.
In addition, the sales forecast is included into this year's earning forecast. |

Add wireless LAN function to Smart phone and PDA |
| |
It provide wireless LAN function to SDIO support WILCOM W-ZERO3 on miniSD card slot or other smart phones and PDA when this product is inserted and installed. With also a SD card adaptor, it will be able to attach to the devices with SDIO support.
【What is SDIO?】
The regulation for the expansion card which has a same adaptor and shape with SD memory card. It is used by small body smart phone or PDA since its smaller size than PC card. In order to use SDIO, it requires supported slot.
