How to switch broadband line to 3G USB modem connection
Switching from the usual Internet connection via modem to the Internet connection via the 3G USB modem is explained as an example.

 

Start WEB browser.




WEB browser starts.


Enter the IP address "192.168.1.1" into the address column, and press <Enter> key.




"Connect with 192.168.1.1" is displayed.


(1)Enter "admin" into "User name" with the caps lock off.
(2)Enter "password" into "Password" with the caps lock off.
(3)Click [OK].


"CQW-MR1000 setup top page" is displayed.


Click "Network".


Set up.

(1)Click "WAN Setup".

(2)Select "PPP USB".

(3)At "Connection Method", select "Specified Connection".
*"Standard Connection" is selectable, but it is not supported.

(4)Enter the following:
Telephone Number Enter the accesspoint "Phone number".
USER ID Enter the Login ID given by the provider.
Password Enter the password given by the provider.
Confirm Password Enter the same password again for confirming.

Set up the following items if needed.
DNS Selection If the secondary DNS address is specified from the provider, click "Setup" and enter "Primary DNS" or "Secondary DNS" if the Secondary DNS is provided.
The default setting is "Auto".
MTU Set up MTU figure. Usually, use as "1454".
Dial-On-Demand The connection is performed automatically when communication occurs. Default setting is Off.
Silent Timeout When there is no communication during the numbers of seconds which is set up, it is cut automatically.
Auto Recconect When the cut from a server occured, the connection is performed automatically again. Default setting is On.

(5)Click [Apply].


Display the message and the countdown starts.


The setting is completed when the countdown ends and the top page is displayed.
Close the WEB browser.



This is the completion of the setup.

When returning to the usual Internet connection, select using connecting method at (2) in .
