The product supports both 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX. Since it can be used in 10BASE-T networks, the adapter allows you to upgrade an existing 10BASE-T network to a 100BASE-TX network in a phased-in manner. Furthermore, its Auto-Negotiation feature automatically selects line speed (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) and duplex mode (Full/Half Duplex) that are most appropriate for the device attached (communicating party). |
