FMX-24P
24Ports 10M/100M PoE Support Intelligent Switch
The FMX-24P intelligent switch comes equipped with twenty-four 10/100BASE-TX ports. It also supports PoE feature, which enables the delivery of power and data via a single ethernet cable, thus eliminating the need to localy power remote device. This is a great advantage allowing flexible network layout even in situations power is not accessible (IP phone, wireless access point, monitoring cameras).

Supports PoE(Power over Ethernet
The FMX-24P implements IEEE 802.3af PoE feature, which enables supplying the switch's power and data via a single ethernet cable. The device that is PoE compatibile requires no local power supply, which reduces cabling and outlet requirements. This significantly enhances installation flexibility, and also makes maintenance easier. The PoE solution frees from worries about blackouts simplifying operation of many devices, such as IP phone for example.

Intelligent Management Features
The product supports SNMP, RMON as well as a protocol for controlling multicast packets. Network configuration can be performed via Telnet, Web browser, and also the product's console serial port.

*SNMP(simple network management protocol)
A set of protocols used to manage TCP/IP-based networks. It is used as a standard protocol for sending management information stored at network devices (agents) such as routers and switches to management systems (managers).

Supported Protocols:MIB-II/SNMPv2-MIB/Bridge MIB/RMON MIB/
IEEE802.1q MIB/Entity MIB/IF-MIB/Ether-Like MIB

*RMON (remote network monitoring)
A network management protocol used to collect and analyze information on network traffic. The network management protocol SNMP has been expanded so as to cover functions for managing data traffic on remote networks.
Supported RMON Functions:Statistics/History/Alarm/Event

VLAN and QoS Improve Network Availability
Fully compliant with IEEE802.1Q VLAN technology, the product supports up to 256 VLAN groups allowing the formation of large-scale logical network groups that consist of multiple nodes (PC's). Furthermore, the product complies with IEEE802.1p QoS to control the quality of data communication. By prioritizing network traffic, QoS reserves communication band to increase the availability of network applications including groupware and databases.

Supports IEEE802.1d Spanning Tree Protocol
The FMX-24P supports IEEE802.1d Spanning Tree Protocol, which prevents the creation of network loops. The two major advantages of it are: 1) no need to reorganize the network as infinite loops are eliminated; 2) if a failure of any kind should occure, an alternate redundant connection path is reserved and activated.

Store-and-Forward Blocks Error Packets
The product utilizes Store-and-Forward technologyto block erroroneous packets within the switch itself, thereby preventing the generation of unwanted traffic on the network.
