[SF-0446G] has 4 combo ports amd 48 port + 2 port all gigabit intelligent switching hub, whicn enables to build the gigabit network environment with optic fiber.

  Equipped 4 IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-SX-LX supported MiniGBIC Combo Port, so it enables to build the gigabit network environment with optic fiber just by additing optionao MiniGBIC module.This is the best suited switch for the Network with huge volumed data or multi media data.

Intelligent Function
  SNMP, RMON function is supported and multi cast packet control protocol is equipped.
By using it with other intelligent switch products, it is possible to build the network, which is superior to management function. Also, it is possible to use console serial port, via Telnet, or WWW browser for network setting.
GUI environment setting eases the network management.
 
SNMP（simple network management protocol）
  Network management protocol for TCP/IP.
It supports the basic protocol to send the management information of network equipment to management system, such as router and switches.
  Supported SNMP: MIBII/ Interface MIB / Ether-Like MIB / Bridge MIB / Extended Bridge MIB / Entity MIB / RADIUS MIB
 
RMON（remote network monitoring）
  The function to collect and analyze the traffic information on Network.
It expands SNMP, which is the network management protocol, and it also equips the function to manage the network communication status.

Multi cast control
  It is different from the broad caset, which is the multiple addressing system in partial user connected to LAN or inte rnet, so it only sends the data to the specific terminal group, and it enables the lowering of network traffic.

IEEE802.1Q V LAN function enables the flexible network structure
  IEEE802.1Q VLAN function supported to maximum 255 groups, enables to group the terminal connected to Network.
Regardless of network structure physically connected, it enables to build theoretical network segment.

  IEEE802.1p Complianced QoS function enables to control the quality of communication.
Allocating the priority in traffic secures communication band width and strengthen availability of network application such as group wear datebase.
 
Trunk function to secure wide band width for connection between switches (Link Aggrecation Function)
  Before connecting two switches, bundles multiple physical links into one, secures the wide band width in the link between switches.
Using 2-8 ports enables the Trunk connection for maximum 6 groups, 8Gbpx at the time of all double communication.
Because IEEE802.3ad complianced link aggregation function is supported, the tracking with any maker's switches can be done.
 
 
Port Mirroring Function
  Specific port enables to copy the packet sent/received to other port (Mirroring).
With this function, connect the monitoring equipment such as Sniffer or RMON Prove to port, and the details of packet, which goes through other ports, can be referred.
Sinffer is the one of protocol analyzer and the hardware or software to record and monitor the traffic, which goes through LAN.
 
Jumbo frame supported for high-speed communication
  It supports jumbo frame to decrease the burden of header handling by sending packet, which exceeds 1,500 bytes in 1 frame, and improve throughput.
Maximum 9,216 byte packet transmission is available.
*In order to use jumbo frame, the other network device (LAN adapter etc) needs to support jumbo frame.
 
 
IEEE802.1d complianced spanning tree function
  IEEE802.1d complianced spanning tree function (STP) enables to aoid the eternal loop for data in the network, which forms the loop physically.
With this function, there is no need to assemble the network in order to resolve eternal loop and the redundant path at the time of when problem occurs, can be secured.
 
 
Rapid Spannign Tree supported
  It supports rapid spanning tree function (RSTP), which enables the rapid convergence.
It provides the redundant function and enables to shorten the network topology by existing ten seconds to the seconds at the time of problem occured.
Totally complianced IEEE802.1W rapid spanning tree.
 
Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) supported
  Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) is the protocol to enlarge RSTP.
Multiple VLAN can be controlled all together by units, so it helps to lower the network loading or CPU compared to when creating spanning tree by VLAN.
Also multiple devices in network can be gathered in the unit called region and controled, so it became easier to control multiple network.
 
All ports support Auto MDI/MDI-X Function
  All ports support Auto MDI/MDI-X function and automatically recognize the type of straight/cross of connected cables, so it avoids the interconnection troubles in advance.
 
High communication efficiency : Flow Control Function
  It supports flow control function and avoids the breaking of packet, which becomes a cause of miss match of transmitting speed.
It helps provide the reliable high communication effectivity.
 
IEEE802.1 x Authentication function supported
  This product supports IEEE802.1xport base authentication functinon.
Using this function enables to improve the security level because it authenticates the connecting client.
Also the external RADIUS can be used for password authentication of management window, and it eases the user administration and pro vide the high level security.
 
Setting with command line interface
  Setting window for this products supports CLI (Command line interface), which is widely used to set the network devices.
This helps to decrease the burdens to study the local command for each devices and ease the network administration.
Also WEB setting window supports GUI screen.
 
RoHS correspondence
  Throughout the life cycle of this product, from production to scrap, this product supports RoHS, which is to limit the usage of harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, liquid silver, hexavalent chrome, polybrominated biphenyl, Polybrominated diphenyl ether.
